Symbol of a City

Springfield is experiencing and exciting period of revitalization as we rediscover our history, solidify our identity, and shape a compelling vision of our future. Our city deserves and iconic symbol to represent its unique identity. That's the mission of the movement behind Springfield newly proposed symbol.

Behind the Project

The white stripe in the flag represents the Ozark Plateau and Route 66 (founded in Springfield). The Crown represents the crossroads of the nation and pays homage to the moniker "Queen City of The Ozarks". The three stars represent Innovative Spirit, Connection with Nature, and Ozarks Culture. We originally wanted John Goodman to do the voice over (Missouri State Alum). He did not respond to our emails. John, if you've changed your mind, you can get in touch here.
